Award winning, ornamental Allium, Star of Persia. A bulbous perennial with 25cm spherical heads that contain numerous star-shaped 'metallic' flowers. 

After falling in love with the many species of ornamental onions seen throughout the European perennial gardens, I had to have them in our collection. I started growing these 4 years ago and it has taken me all this time to grow a few trays on to have some for sale in 2024. A. christophii has proved by far the easiest to grow in our climate however in coming years I intend to have many species available. 

A. christophii is shorter than some of the other species but with a larger head.

Fabulous dried. 

Enjoys a cold climate. Full sun with well-drained soil.

Single potted 3 year old bulb. LIMIT 1 PER CUSTOMER.
