Astilbe chinensis var. Taquetii

Vigorous herbaceous perennial to 1.2m with divided leaves and erect narrow dense spikes of rosy-mauve flower plumes in late summer. Rich green foliage, tough and pest free. 

Plant in to rich soil with plenty of compost. 

Excellent for shady, damp areas, ponds, streams etc. 

Hardy perennial.
